About This Program
Many youth connected to Jacob's Ladder do not always attend traditional school or receive traditional educational support. Academic Enrichment exists because education is a key part of youth development and future opportunity.
Jacob's Ladder provides academic support based on each student's needs — whether that means GED preparation, tutoring, study support, or help finding an educational pathway that works for them.

What Participants May Receive
Program Goals
Education helps young people build confidence, discover direction, and identify a path forward. For some students, that may mean a GED. For others, it may mean improving grades, graduating, entering college, joining the military, or finding another educational pathway.
Many youth need support beyond the classroom to stay focused, confident, and connected to their education. Academic Enrichment gives youth a stronger support system and helps them work toward progress one step at a time.
